1.  Community Work (weekly)

Each week everyone will spend at least 5 hours working on community projects.

  • Keep in touch with the 'To Do List'.
  • Keep in touch with the 'Chore List'.
  • Take initiative.
  • Ask for instructions when you need them.
  • Participate in group work sessions.
  • Stay diligent during the week so we don't have to cram in our hours on the weekend.

2.  Community Meal (weekly)

Each week everyone will prepare and serve a community meal.

  • Consider everyone's dietary requirements.  For instance, we may have residents who don't eat meat.
  • Ask for help with cleanup if you want it.
  • Post your meal at least two days in advance on the 'Calendar'.
  • When attending a community meal, bring personal eating vessel and utensils.  We should also offer to help clean up.

3.  File Weekly Report (weekly)

Each week everyone will file a weekly report.  The weekly report will have include information our community responsibilities.

  • Be thorough and clear.
  • Share any ideas, thoughts, or concerns.

4.  Financial Contribution (monthly)

Currently we everyone will pay $350 towards the finances in our community.  Periodically we will address changing this amount in community discussion.  It is a goal to create jobs for us here on the property and businesses that can pay into the finances as well. One day we can be paid to live and work here.

  • Make payments in a timely manner.
  • Communicate any financial issues we may have with the Property Manager.
  • Whenever possible, do more.  It will help us attain our goals quicker.

5.  Adopt-a-Zone

Each Co-Creator will adopt and care for an area (zone) of the land.  The knowledge and understanding of the area will be a vital part of creating the master plan.

  • Identify the needs of our zone, including:
    • Natures requirements.
    • City requirements.
    • Community requirements.
    • How it relates to the 'The Plan'.
  • Convey these needs to the community, school, and management teams.
  • General upkeep.
    • Trash and clutter cleanup.
    • Coordinating with teams for upkeep, repair, beautification, and improvements.

6.  Document Experiences

This is a very important aspect of our community role.  We are leaning heavily on learning from our experiences and mistakes as quickly as possible to forward the momentum of the vision of WildCraft EcoVillage.

  • Making sure our 'Weekly Reports' include all the info we need to share.
  • Using the 'Discussion Forum' to convey our experiences.
  • Discuss what we are learning directly with our fellow Co-Creators.
  • Offer feedback and ideas.

7.  Follow Community Policies

The policies are listed on the left side of this page.

  • Follow all policies.
  • Give feedback about how the policies work for us.
  • Communicate any needs for altering the policies.
  • Participate in the decision making process.
